Company history
The first large project was under bidded
The client is a major US Corporation
The Field Superintendent asked the following questions
1. Are you going to make money on this project?
2. Are you going to complete the project?
3. Are you considering issuing a request for a price change?
4. What is the projected completion date?
5. Has your company paid all of it's suppliers?
6. Finally, do you want more money for this project or re-negotiate the Cost?
I said, we have about 3 more days to completion and have not asked for more money. We made a written contract and a mistake was made in the price. It was our mistake and not yours. We will survive because our word is our bond. We are similiar to the "Cattlemen" of the Old West. If we give our word you can caste it in stone. We completed the project in 3 days and submitted our invoice. Two weeks later we were paid and I thought we had lost a client. Two months later at their fiscal year we were awarded a "Blanket Contract". This procedure continued for 34 years. 4 years after we closed the company.
Customer testimonials
That "Blanket Contract" to me was worth more than money. They introduced my company to their competitors and we received "Blanket Contracts" from all of them. Clients (public agencies, major corporations, private companies and individuals have applauded our, honesty, integrity and tenacity.
